The Mercury 8hp is ideal for long shaft jon boats, skiffs, and small pontoons as well as sailboat and trolling/kicker applications. This lightweight yet powerful twin-cylinder four-stroke offers smooth, quiet, fuel efficient operation.

The multi-function tiller handle provides one-hand operation of F-N-R gear shifting, throttle and throttle tension, steering, and stopping. Mercury’s patented auto-ratchet system allows the user to easily adjust tilt and trim angle.
